Meet Toni

Toni Boucher was elected to represent the 26th Senatorial District in 2008 and served until 2018 after having served as the State Representative from the 143rd Assembly District for 12 years.
The 26th Senatorial District includes the communities of Bethel, Darien, New Canaan, Redding, Ridgefield, Stamford, Weston, Westport and Wilton. Senator Boucher has earned leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. She has worked as an executive with Fortune 50 companies and co- founded small businesses. She also served as Wilton Board of Education Chair, on the Board of Selectman and served as one of the nine Commissioners on the Connecticut State Board of Education
In the State Senate, Toni served as a Chief Deputy Republican Majority Leader and served as a Vice Chair of the Finance, Revenue & Bonding Committee and co- Chair of its Transportation Bonding subcommittee. She was also the Senate co-Chair of the General Assembly’s Transportation Committee, co- Chair of the Education Committee and member of the Legislative Management Committee.

Toni holds an MBA from UCONN with a concentration in international marketing and has held series 7, 31 and 63 licenses. She recently retired as a Director at a Connecticut- based institutional asset management firm.
